Les Salons d'Edgar – Vibrant 1930s-Inspired Bar & Restaurant in Quebec City

The atmosphere feels like a club from the 1930's, very vibrant, friendly and full of energy. The drinks and the meal were all top notch and tasted like more even though the amounts served were perfect! Loved it

What a wonderful gem of a spot! We had a delicious meal while listening to a talented duo sing a delightful mix of melodies, from old standards to new classics. The vibe was just amazing, and the staff couldn't have been more lovely. We went on the early side with our two tweens, who dislike just about everything at the moment, and they LOVED it here. From the super fresh salads and mouth watering steak to the simple chicken burger and hand-cut fries, the food was delicious (and served quickly)! We were also pleasantly surprised by the range of NA selections and mocktails (NA amaretto sour?? amazing!). Before and during dinner, we enjoyed listening to a talented duo playing an ecclectic mix of tunes. After our meal, we played pool in the back while the kids played video games. If we lived here, this would be our place, no doubt. Skip the tourist traps, and head over to Les Salons d'Edgar. You won't be sorry!

A gorgeous rustic resto bar thanks to its exquisite decor and style along with curated accompanying blues and jazz music to let you time travel to decades ago. There’s pool tables in the back for those who wanna enjoy a couple of rounds while sipping on their fancy cocktails. Definitely a place to spend your Friday or Saturday nights until the sun rises again

We’ve discovered this restaurant by pure chance because we were searching for a place to play pool in our visit to Québec City. The atmosphere is cozy and classy with really nice music. The staff it’s very nice and friendly always making sure you have a good time. The menu is not big and with a nice selection of drinks. We ate 3 types of burgers that were really tasty. If want to have a good time don’t miss this place, I feel it’s a hidden gem.

We ate at Les Salons d’Edgar on Tuesday evening, and both the service and the food were excellent. The bruschetta appetizer on naan bread was absolutely delicious. A small note if you plan on ordering the hamburger: the meat was cooked medium rare, so if you prefer it well done, you may want to mention that when ordering. The atmosphere was great, fun and cozy. There was even live music, which added to the experience. This restaurant was recommended by a friend, and now I’m passing on the recommendation to you. It’s definitely worth the stop!

Very fortunate to have walked past this place! It was exactly what I was looking for. The omelette was fantastic and service was friendly and welcoming. Quite and cozy atmosphere with an eclectic and original soundtrack, very refreshing.

A sultry and sexy dining find. Low lighting and decor perfectly executed to make for a wonderful dinner shared with your partner or friends. Candles, old school chandeliers, bar lights and hanging plants charm the interior. Steak and frites, hamburger with frites, nachos were great! Entertained by a wonderful eclectic group of musicians that played delightful French Canadian instrumental tunes. Sarah our waitress is outstanding ! Love you Played billiards and generally had the best time!!!

I ordered a POUTINE and the taste was terrific, it was the best thing I ate in my whole existence. This was so good that I enjoyed my meal. I will always remember this delightful moment.
